ANOTHER Blogging Mom?

I've had this idea for a blog in my head for about a year now, but never really knew what I should write about. I'm a pretty Type A personality, so always feel like I need to have a plan in place before I do something, hence it taking a FULL YEAR to do this. After a while, I put it to the back of my mind and went along my merry way. However, recently I began thinking about it again after reading some other blogs here and there on maternity leave. Finally, I thought to myself, "What the heck are you waiting for Abby? You don't really need to have a theme, your life and the random crap you think about are enough to get you started!" So here I am, writing about my life. Maybe you'll find it interesting, maybe you won't. I really don't care! (Well, let's be honest, I secretly want you to LOVE it, but it's not going to bring my world crashing down if you don't!)

I realize I'm not the only blogging mom out there, so if you're wondering about the title of my blog it's a mix of the idea behind the blog (me talking about my life) and a bit of self-depricating humor - I'm aware that a blogging mom is not the most original idea in the world.

Now that I'm FINALLY starting my blog, I've again been trying to think of a great first post. Something catchy, something to draw you in. There are so many ways for me to start, but I thought the very best way is to tell you WHY I'm blogging, and what I'll be blogging about! I'm blogging primarily as a creative outlet for myself and to share my life experiences - the good, the bad and the downright dirty - with you in hopes that some of it resonates with someone out there.

I'll talk a lot about my kids, Annabelle and Eloise:

I'll talk about teething, pooping, tantrums, exhaustion (bring me all the coffee) but also hugs and kisses between these 2 girls that are 15 months apart and all the chaos that goes with raising two under two.

I'll talk about trying out different products and maybe a little bit of fashion. I love box subscriptions and am currently a Birchbox and Stitch Fix subscriber, so when my next boxes come, I'll post some reviews on the goodies I get. I am obsessed with LuLaRoe clothing and who knows, maybe I'll post some of those looks as well.

I'll talk about some of my hobbies - you know, in all that spare time I have with a toddler and an infant. Currently I'm really into knitting (yes, I've got an old soul) but am definitely a novice so will probably ask for tips, patterns, etc.

I'm sure there will be many other things I'll talk about, and since I'm really going in to this with a "No-Plan Plan," the options are endless.
